Summary

IdeaReboot Inc is looking for a highly motivated Senior J2EE Developer with strong server side programming and workflow automation experience. The primary responsibility includes defining, designing, and implementing a dynamic workflow solution based on JBPM.

Expectations

• As a Mid-Senior J2ee Developer you will be required to work on developing a dynamic workflow solution based on jBPM.
• You should have thorough understanding of workflow concepts and experience in developing complex and secure workflow applications.
• You should have a strong understanding of Hibernate to implement complex object models and integrating with Spring framework.
• End to end web application development experience with JSF is desirable.
• Excellent understanding of application security concepts such as authorization, permissions and roles will be a plus.

Preferences

• 5 or more years of strong experience developing applications using distributed components with J2EE (JSP, EJBs, Servlets, JNDI, JDBC, JMS)
• Leading design and development of individual modules and experience in complete SDLC
• Strong OO concepts, Component based development and basic computing skills -OS concepts, threads, data structures, inter-networking, RDBMS and SQL
• Thorough knowledge of design patterns
• Extensive experience working and administering with either WebLogic or WebSphere application servers
• Experience with frameworks like Struts, Hibernate, Spring, Log4j etc.
• Experience with databases like Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server
• Experience in application server clustering, performance tuning and testing
• In depth understanding of framework design and architecture
• Ability to understand technical issues relating to enterprise class applications
• Strong problem-solving abilities and good communication skills
• High motivation/Self starter and a very good team player
• Ability to mentor and lead development teams
• Experience in documentation and good presentation skills

Desired Skills

• A technology degree from US (for candidates who have less than 4 years of experience)
• Experience with other pieces of an enterprise IT puzzle - Integration Server, Messaging Server, Portals, Rules Engines, Workflow Engines, Content Management Systems, and Web Services.
