Summary

IdeaReboot Inc is looking for a Lead QA Engineer with HealthCare experience for one of its clients in CA. The client’s Operations Support Center of Excellence (OSC) Certification Test Team is responsible for quality assurance testing and support of enterprise application collaborations across disparate platforms. Within OSC, the Certification Test Team bears primary responsibility for all aspects of QA within enterprise integration projects involving operational IT systems. These systems are used within all facets of the client’s organization, The Certification Testers who make up this group analyze the integration requirements, message structures, and data processing needs in order to develop the test cases, test scripts, and sample data. Our team applies industry best practices regarding Service Oriented Architectures and Messaging patters to ensure a quality solution is delivered to Production.

Expectations

  • Perform Certification (QA) testing for Local and National initiatives;
  • Communicate effectively with the Development Leads, internal managers, business, project management and other client’s IT teams to review project documentation and determine testing needs;
  • Create Testing Dashboards to communicate project status and include metrics for continued process improvements;
  • Use your testing experience to report & resolve defects in Quality Center.
  • Work independently and work with your peers when guidance is required.
  • Report open issues and ensure that sufficient documentation is available to solve technical problems;
  • Provide Test Summary documentation to communicate risk assessments and provide input so that a recommendation on the quality of the system can be made by your management;
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Participate in internal design reviews
  • Contribute to production readiness/hand-off review before go-live

Preferences

  • Minimum 5 years hands-on of experience in functional, system or integration testing.
  • Proficient in testing web service oriented applications integrating legacy systems
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills in testing, development and automation
  • Ability to decompose documents to create test cases and scenarios for complex integrations
  • Highly skilled in writing test documentation (plans, test cases, status report), executing test cases & identifying defects
  • Experience with testing tools (ex. Mercury Quality Center)
  • Black or white box testing experience
  • Ensure Compliance with established methodologies
  • Strong communications/interpersonal/organizational skills a must.
  • Self motivated, self-directed and independent thinking yet team player
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with technical and business partners
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another technical field
