Summary

IdeaReboot Inc is looking for Senior Integration Message Broker Developer. The position requires a seasoned engineer, primarily responsible for developing integration solutions, troubleshooting issues and assisting with code reviews to ensure the optimal solution has been delivered. This individual will leverage their knowledge of industry best practices and KP infrastructure to continually improve internal development procedures and standards. As needed, this individual may assist other developers with development challenges and be called upon to assist with critical troubleshooting and bug resolution. When needed, the senior may provide input to solution designs and communicate technical details to business partners. Seniors apply industry best practices regarding Service Oriented Architectures and system modeling in order to satisfy business and technical requirements by developing a reusable, manageable, and cost-effective integration framework.

Expectations

• Perform hands on development of integration solutions on a variety of platforms.
• Research and resolve technical issues and recommend appropriate interventions/modifications as needed.
• Ensure work processes and products meet KP IT standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
• Assist development of the SIC’s reference architectures and patterns.
• Recommend integration best practices, such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and system modeling.

Preferences

• BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience. M.S. Degree in Computer Science is a plus.
• Must have at an expert level (3+ years experience):
• Hands-on experience developing message-oriented integration solutions
• Websphere Message Broker v6, ESQL, AIX, XML development experience
• Web Services, WSDL, Websphere Transformation Extender (WTX) familiarity
• Experience with testing tools (SoapUI, VuGen or SoapScope)
• Nice to have experience:
• WTX HIPAA Pack, WTX X12 Pack (specifically 834 message structures)
• Java, J2EE, RAD6 or RAD7
