System Integration Manager | Contract Position | Pleasanton, CA


Summary

IdeaReboot Inc. is looking for an System Integration Manager for one of its clients. Enterprise Integration Services (EIS) is responsible for End-To-End Management of our client’s systems integration projects. Within EIS, the Client Services organization is composed of Enterprise Integration Managers (EIMs), who manage client engagements and deliver components that provide enterprise-wide integration solutions throughout the Care Delivery, Health Plan, Business Infrastructure, and HealthConnect portfolios.


Expectations

  • Perform client relationship management and accountable for on-time and within budget delivery of solutions
  • Project management activities include: planning and conducting project kickoff meetings; defining project scope; facilitating technical/operational requirements; developing detailed project plans; tracking/managing projects to successful completion; communicating status, issues and risks to project stakeholders; providing leadership to cross-functional project teams, and maintaining project documentation
  • Negotiate with internal resource managers to provide qualified and trained resources on a timely basis, support clients with subject matter experts, and demonstrate project leadership
  • Facilitate internal Design Reviews, Project Meetings, Go-Live Readiness Assessments
  • Actively manage and coordinate a book of projects spanning multiple disciplines
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to manage expectations and to discuss client / stakeholder responsibilities, requirements, initiatives, and concepts
  • Leverage internal tools to build detailed project cost estimates, identify critical assumptions and risks, and develop Statements of Work for new opportunities
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Integration Management processes, both internally and within the industry, and its applicability to the organization
  • Effectively communicate project status and risk to EIS organization
  • Contribute to the definition, application, and execution of Integration Services processes


Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in technical project management, program management, or professional services
  • Five (5) or more years of recent experience in business process, information systems analysis, and senior technology consulting associated with the Integration Management domain area
  • 2+ years of client management experience; demonstrated confidence and credibility in front of senior management and clients
  • Must be able to handle a number of simultaneous projects, demonstrate a sense of ownership to drive projects to completion on schedule, and be successful in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver distributed, enterprise solutions
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills; must be able to communicate and negotiate at all levels in the organization.
  • Key technology experience in J2EE, .NET, Web Services, SOA, WebSphere MQ is a plus
  • Project Management certification a plus
  • Priority will be given to candidates with healthcare experience
