Summary

IdeaReboot Inc is looking for qualified DW Support Engineers  in Phoenix. Our client is looking to establish a new team of Data Warehouse Support Engineers. This team will be supporting a new suite of business critical applications for the client’s primary line of business. This individuals on this team will be responsible for owning/solving problems and troubleshooting the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications supported by this group. It is expected that each team member will be assigned a specific application to which he/she will be viewed as the service owner and go-to person for that application. The DW Support Engineer would be considered the highest level of support for the assigned applications. The selected individuals will be problem solvers and have intimate experience with Data Warehousing hardware, software and processes. Macro assessment skills will be needed by members of this team - must have the ability to identify problems and create solutions.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must have strong network/systems experience(generalist) within a DW environment. Business will be calling this group with problems and outages and this team must solve and troubleshoot. Therefore, strong communications and customer service skills are needed.
• Ideal candidate would have come from a network operating center environment with level(1-3) support background. This is not necessarily a 9-5 job and sense of urgency to resolve problems is a necessity.
